Sharing Ocean Conservation Stories from the South Pacific
Hi!
I’m a Portuguese marine biologist (24), just finished my master’s in Marine Biology & Conservation and spent the last 1.5 years living in the Azores working on shark and mobula research. I’ve spent a lot of time at sea, including working with whale-watching companies, and I hold a local skipper license, so I’m very comfortable on boats.
I’m now ready for a new adventure and starting a small funded project called OMALI. The aim is to share and connect marine conservation projects and ocean communities in Portugal and the South Pacific through short videos, highlighting daily life, restoration work, and the people behind it. I travel on a tight budget, and with a big curiosity for conservation projects, remote islands, and ocean communities.
On board, I’m tidy, easygoing, and always happy to help — cooking, watches, lines, cleaning, you name it. I love freediving, scuba diving, exploring new places, and talking about the ocean (probably a bit too much). Looking for a good-vibe crew, shared adventures, and wherever the wind takes us next.
