Hi, I want a sailing adventure!

I am ready to go now. (Feb 2026)

UPDATE: Feb 1, 2026
I am crew on a voyage starting from the US east coast, going down to the Bahamas embarking on March 1st. I should be in the Bahamas around March 15th, and am looking to join a new boat to continue on my adventure from there.

I must disembark my current ship between March 15th - April 1st, somewhere in the Bahamas (tbd). Going to be in the area? Let's talk about having me aboard as crew! - END UPDATE

I'm an A1 Audio Engineer, and spent a decade flying all over the US doing live production shows and events. I've done a lot of traveling... 500 flights and 1000 shows. A couple years back I bought an RV and did some camping from the Colorado Rockies to California, embracing the motto: "live simply and be grateful"

I'm kind of open to anything / anywhere. A one month boat delivery? Sure thing. Island hopping? Would love it! A watchman for oceanic passages? Sign me up!

I'm currently scheduled for a one month trip to to the Bahamas, and am looking to find another opportunity to continue on my journey from there.

Currently very active hiking 5-10km a day. I'm mentally capable, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and ready to apply my knowledge towards sailing. I've been a skater, martial arts instructor, climber, drifter (race cars), a DJ, sound engineer and small business owner.

I have open water scuba certification, and look to free dive, fish, cook, explore, hike, sail, and generally enjoy life. I can fund my own way, and have reserves. Over the last year I've put in considerable time, effort, and focus, all aimed towards positioning myself to comfortably step into the world for a time and do a sailing adventure.

I'm easy going, and have a good sense of humor with a healthy balance of seriousness. I like to challenge myself, and am never bored.

I want to enjoy my time on this planet, explore, have fun, and one day perhaps find myself circling the globe.

A bit more about me:
I have funds to travel for the next few years, and for what it's worth, that's my goal.

I'm open to do small voyages first if that makes sense before committing to a longer journey, and I look forward to being part of a team and meeting new people. I'm traveling light, with only a backpack for the trip.

I've given this lifestyle a lot of consideration over the years, and I believe my traveling experience will serve me well on this next adventure. While I'm ready for leisure and lazy days on a beach somewhere, I'm a bit of a mechanic, detailed oriented, and am ready to help keep your boat in good working order and do my part.

I've had a little bit of sailing experience, (small lakes) and my experience is increasing with time. By the time I join the next crew, I'll have 1000 miles under my belt, and will continue learning as I crew on more boats as we move into spring. From the boating I've done while working shows or on vacations, I know the lifestyle works well with me.

Let's talk, and let me hear why you're looking for crew, and see if i'm a good match!

looking forward to it :)
