Looking for any position with the right crew
I’ve wanted to live and work on boats for as long as I can remember. I started sailing San Francisco Bay with my dad and his friends when I was five and fell in love with the water immediately.
In my early 30s I joined Club Nautique in San Francisco/Sausalito and sailed nearly every weekend for about five years, working up to my coastal passagemaker certification. Since then I’ve skippered charters in SF Bay, along the California coast, the BVIs, St. Barthélemy, and Catalina with friends and small groups.
I’m now looking to start a new chapter, reset my life, and commit to time at sea. I’m a non-smoker, I don’t drink, and I prioritize conscious living, respectful cohabitation, mindfulness, and clear communication. I’m easy to live with, tidy, and good at reading the mood on board.
I bring strong leadership and problem-solving skills from backgrounds in information technology, construction, and basic mechanics. I enjoy cooking for crew and guests and naturally take ownership of my duties, safety, and the condition of the vessel.
I’m a strong swimmer and very comfortable in and around the water. I also have extensive experience in luxury customer service, anticipating needs and helping create smooth, memorable trips for owners and guests.
My wife passed away in 2020, and since then I’ve been looking for a meaningful new adventure. Going to sea feels like coming home to the life I always imagined. I’m excited to see how I can serve your crew and bring my skills, heart, and work ethic to your boat.
