I am looking to "sink" my culinary teeth into making perfect delicious meals on the high seas. My expertise is cooking but with over 40 years sailing experience I am a very competent crew - holding RYA Day Skipper and RYA Power Boat Level 2. I earned a Diploma in Cookery from Ashburton Cookery School and Chef's Academy and have experience of outside catering, yacht cheffing and have also been chef in a pub kitchen as well as running a monthly supper club and baking for my village community cafe.
I am very much a team player and prefer being part of a crew than to be a skipper. Happy to be a deckie but can also handle to duties of first mate. I have owned , skippered and crewed both sailing and power boats and worked on survey ships for nearly 30 years.
