Looking for a Captain or 1st Mate position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Captain or 1st Mate. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
Seasoned Captain with over 30 years of experience is looking for Master’s position with a motor or sailing yacht. Live aboard or live ashore, permanent or contract, stationed, in transit or delivery.
35+ years of experience in Europe (Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, France, Spain, Morocco), SE US waters and the Caribbean (Bahamas, Cuba, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala).
Current USCG 100 GT Masters license with Sail endorsement. Certificates in Assistance Towing, First Aid & CPR, Marine Radio operation. Hands-on experience in radar navigation, electronic chart plotting, electronic weather assessment. Lifetime boat-owner with first-hand experience in vessel navigation, provisioning, maintenance, documentation and books.
US citizen, current travel docs.
Responsible, reliable person with military background, strong leadership and personal communication skills, committed to safety of the vessel, crew and passengers.
