Looking for a Marine mechanic position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Marine mechanic. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people! I want to learn to sail. I am from Tennessee. I have a lot of experience in boat maintenance and repair. I worked for two boat dealerships for three years, a boat builder for two years, and drove a semi-truck hauling boats nationwide for three years. I also worked as a mechanic at a marina for a while. I am an A and P aircraft mechanic with ten years experience. I am a very good mechanic, but I am also good with fiberglass work and spraying gel coat. I am currently broke at home in Vonore,TN. It might take me some time to get up the money to get myself and my tools to you. I am that rare, multi-talented, old school hand that is hard to find. I rarely drink, but I am a smoker. I will keep your boat running smoothly and keep stores to keep you running as long as you buy what I suggest. If you want to put mechanical break-downs at your stern, I’m your man. I’m looking for friendly people. I want a long-term, paying position so that one day I can buy my own sailboat. You’ll like me, once you get to know me, even though I’m a little rough around the edges. I will save you a ton of money with my knowledge and ability to repair and prevent damages.
