Looking for a Mile building position
Hi, I'm Annik from Switzerland.
I grew up around sailing. My family has a sailboat on a lake in Switzerland, and over the years I have spent a lot of time on the water. I hold the Swiss inland sailing licence and can confidently handle a sailboat on inland waters.
Now I would like to take the next step and learn how to sail at sea. My goal is to gain practical experience, learn from experienced sailors, and eventually become a confident offshore sailor.
At the age of 21, I discovered surfing and quickly fell in love with the ocean. Since then, I have spent as much time as possible in and around the water, travelling, surfing, and exploring different coastlines around the world.
I live in a tiny house, so I am very comfortable living in small spaces and sharing close quarters with others. I enjoy simple living, adapting to different situations, and being part of a team—qualities that I believe are just as important on a boat as sailing skills.
Professionally, I work as a photographer and filmmaker. I enjoy meeting people, learning new skills, and experiencing places beyond the typical tourist routes. I am happy to help with all aspects of life on board, whether that is cooking, cleaning, maintenance, watches, or simply being a reliable and positive crew member.
I am looking for authentic sailing experiences, good teamwork, and the opportunity to learn as much as possible while contributing to the crew. More than anything, I am excited to spend time at sea, gain experience, and hopefully catch some waves along the way.
