Benalmadena based Swedish/Spanish skipper, seeking Voluntary Tidewater / Gibraltar Passage
Hi everyone,
I am a Swedish-certified commercial skipper based in Benalmádena, Spain, looking to build tidewater miles toward my RYA Yachtmaster certifications.
My Goal:
I am actively seeking voluntary mile-building opportunities on tidewater passages. Given my location on the Costa del Sol, I am ideally positioned for passages transiting through or starting around the Strait of Gibraltar, for passages to the Atlantic coast of Spain/Portugal, or North Africa.
What I Bring to Your Crew:
Qualifications: I hold a Swedish Fartygsbefäl klass VIII (Commercial Master Class VIII) competence, ensuring a strong foundation in navigation, safety, and seamanship.
Experience: Years of practical handling on our family boat (Aquador 30) alongside my commercial training.
Flexibility: Based locally, I can step aboard at short notice for yachts preparing to transit the Straits or heading out into the Atlantic.
I am a reliable, safety-first, and hard-working crew member ready to assist with watches, navigation, and boat handling in exchange for logged tidal miles.
