Looking for a Novice Crew, Voluntary work, Delivery Crew or Deckhand position
Hi I’m Ethan from Rhode Island, USA. I am currently working on an organic veggie farm close to Belfast, Maine, USA. I have an ASA 101 certification and have taken a few sailing lessons as well as a handful of hours sailing in the Narragansett Bay in RI, but I am very eager to learn much more so that I can become a competent crew member and eventually someday get my own boat.
I am very easy-going but a hard worker at the same time. I have experience working in groups and making an effort to get along with everyone. I think that my recent experience with carpentry and farming show that I can get down and dirty and work.
My other recent interests are learning homesteading and survival skills. I think the combination of these with sailing would make my life feel even more rewarding.
I love travel and adventure, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures. I have done a bit of traveling, including Portugal, France, Nepal, France, Peru, and Costa Rica. The further away and more remote the better!
