Looking for a boat to sail across the atlantic
Hi! I’m a Swedish medical student looking to join a boat to sail across the atlantic.
I have some previous sailing experience from sailing in the Swedish archipelago, but I’m still relatively new and one of my main reasons for joining is that I’d really like to become a better and more confident sailor. I’m eager to learn and very happy to get involved with all aspects of life on board.
A little about me: I’m currently studying medicine and have previously worked as a chef, so I’m more than happy to help out in the galley. This summer I worked in Norwegian home care, including night shifts, so I’m used to responsibility, long days and being awake and useful at odd hours.
I’ve also spent four months living and skiing in Chamonix, where five of us shared a 25 sqm apartment. That taught me quite a bit about living closely with other people, keeping things tidy and respecting everyone’s space.
I’m social, easy-going, hardworking and very eager to learn. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty, taking night watches, cooking, cleaning or helping wherever I’m needed. Most importantly, I’m looking for a good experience with good people.
