Looking for a Deckhand, Mile building, Voluntary work or Racing crew position
I’m a Zimbabwean national currently based in Cape Town, South Africa, and I’m passionate about building a career in the yachting industry. I have recently completed my maritime and yachting training, including STCW, RYA Day Skipper, Powerboat Level 2, Personal Watercraft, Diesel, SRC VHF and Super Yacht Deckhand training.
I’m a hardworking, adaptable and eager-to-learn person looking for my first opportunity as a deckhand. I’m particularly interested in gaining practical experience, building sea time and miles, and developing my skills with an experienced crew. I’m comfortable working hard, taking instruction and getting involved wherever needed. My long-term goal is to progress through the industry and work towards my Yachtmaster qualifications.
I’m available immediately and willing to travel for the right opportunity. I’m especially interested in delivery passages, crossings and entry-level deckhand positions where I can gain valuable experience and contribute positively to the crew.
