Looking for a Novice Crew or Friendship position
Hello friends,
a certain fascination for travelling with wind has been in me for long - a distant dream and idea to possibly spend a longer time on a ship some time in the future is there but might also be an illusion.
At 34 years old, my expertise is still second to none and limited to some few days on sailing boats spread throughout the years, but other than the fact that luckily I don't seem to get seasick as well as some very basics, not much has stuck with me so far. Maybe it is time to take action to find out whether the experience could live up to the dreaming. Though I am not bringing much experience or knowledge in the field, I promise that I am willing to learn and work, and share experience from all aspects of life - I'd also love to bring a guitar to annoy you if that helps ;-) I'm a curious guy and will love to ask many questions.
I would love to use my holidays to spend some time on boats with friendly people, get to know their personalities, explore some waters and lands, and of course learn about sailing.
As I am working regularly and currently trying to avoid flights, my options are currently limited in time to a maximum of a few weeks as well as in location to anything reachable by land transport within reasonable time from Innsbruck (Austria) :)
This is a very spontaneous call, but if anything comes up for early September in the mediterranean, I would be very curious.
