Looking for a Mile building, Competent Crew, Racing crew or Deckhand position
Hi, I’m Will and i’m looking for more experience sailing so that i can feel more comfortable working in the field, continuing with further qualifications, and eventually having my own vessel and travelling the world at my own pace.
I am very motivated sand hardworking and i often find am very easy going and level headed, and that i am able to stay calm and measured in most circumstances and keep my composure and calm attitude in any company or rough/ difficult conditions.
I am currently qualified as an RYA coastal skipper with reasonable sailing experience at sea on yachts, and also a lot of time spent sailing and teaching sailing on small crafts, on lakes. I would love to continue and do my yachtmaster qualifications in the coming months and i’m looking to build up my confidence and experience travelling with others in the meantime. I find i am a competent sailor and navigator and i have an interest in the engineering side of sailing aswell, as i have a background in physics so would love to inherit knowledge of engines/electronics/general maintenance from anyone willing to share (and ofcourse help with any ongoing projects aswell)
I am also a confident cook, as i have experience working in kitchens and cooking for myself and friends/family at home, and i love the challenge of cooking for new people in more difficult circumstances (a tiny galley at 20 degrees of heel haha).
