Greek-Australian professional yacht Captain and RYA Yachtmaster Offshore 200GT, with over 10 years of professional yachting experience and more than 25,000 NM at sea.
My background covers both sailing and motor yachts, including several years as First Mate aboard a 41.8m sailing yacht operating privately and commercially throughout the Mediterranean, as well as Captain experience on motor yachts.
I have extensive cruising experience throughout Greece — including the Cyclades, Saronic Gulf, Sporades, Ionian Islands and Peloponnese — as well as Croatia, Malta, Sicily, the Western Mediterranean, Atlantic Spain and passages through Gibraltar to/from the UK.
Alongside navigation and vessel operations, I bring a strong hands-on technical background with extensive experience in maintenance, refits, shipyard periods, deck and rigging work, troubleshooting and contractor coordination.
I am currently Captain of a private motor yacht in Greece, responsible for the complete day-to-day operation of the vessel, maintenance, contractors and owner/guest requirements.
I am looking to progress into a long-term Captain position, preferably aboard a private or charter sailing yacht, motor yacht or catamaran. I am particularly interested in professionally managed programs where I can combine seamanship, vessel management and my technical background.
Open to opportunities in Greece, the Mediterranean and selected international programs.
