Novice crew seeking Panama to French Polynesia crossing in 2027
Hi, I’m Yohai, 23, currently travelling in South America. I’m looking to join a sailing yacht from Panama to French Polynesia between January and June 2027, ideally via the Galápagos, Marquesas and Tuamotus.
I’m new to sailing but physically fit, responsible, calm under pressure and eager to learn. I’m a trained medic and comfortable working as part of a team in demanding conditions. I’m happy to take part in watches, cooking, cleaning, maintenance and all aspects of life aboard.
Before the crossing, I plan to gain basic sailing experience and would be happy to join the boat early to help with preparations and the Panama Canal transit. I’m looking for a safe, well-maintained boat with an experienced skipper and a friendly, committed crew.
