Looking for a 2nd Engineer or 3rd Engineer position

Im a piploma-qualified Marine Engineer holding a Class III Certificate of Competency (Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch, 750kW and above, unlimited trade), with six years of progressive sea-going service advancing from Oiler to 3rd Engineer aboard container, bulk carrier, and tanker vessels. Deep technical command of two-stroke main engines and four-stroke auxiliary engines, spanning full-cycle overhaul, performance testing, fuel injection maintenance, and turbocharger servicing, alongside auxiliary boilers, purifiers, air compressors, pumps, and environmental systems all managed with full accountability for spare parts planning and inventory. Skilled in root-cause fault diagnosis, planned preventive maintenance, and chemical testing of cooling water and lubricating oil, operating to rigorous STCW, SOLAS, and MARPOL safety standards while training and supervising engine cadets and oilers. Seeks to apply this depth of engine room technical mastery and disciplined maintenance rigour to a shore-based Maintenance Engineer role within a facilities or utilities environment.
