Brazilian beginner taking my first steps into sailing
Hi! I’m Lucas, from Brazil, and I’m looking for my first real sailing experience.
I’m a beginner, but I’m curious, responsible and very willing to learn. I’m happy to help with everyday tasks on board, cooking, cleaning, basic maintenance and whatever else I can learn along the way.
I’ve recently started studying toward my Brazilian recreational boating licence (Arrais-Amador), so I’m taking my first steps into navigation and seamanship. I understand that sailing involves real responsibility, particularly around safety, preparation and teamwork. I’ve experienced a similar mindset through climbing, where trust, awareness and responsibility are essential.
Sailing is something I’ve wanted to explore for a long time. My goal now is to learn properly, gain real experience at sea, build some miles and meet interesting people along the way.
I’m interested in voluntary crew, recreational sailing and mile-building opportunities.
