2 RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Skippers ooking for a position on a Yacht
Hello,
We are a British couple, both RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualified, looking for an opportunity to manage and skipper a privately owned yacht together.
We both hold RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, VHF, First Aid and STCW qualifications, and we bring very different but complementary backgrounds. He is ex-military with a practical, calm and hands-on approach; she comes from a senior corporate and finance background, bringing strong organisational, planning and communication skills.
Our ideal position would be with a private or family-owned yacht where we can take responsibility for looking after the vessel, moving her between cruising areas as required, and providing a safe, relaxed and enjoyable experience for the owners, their family and guests.
We are particularly interested in a longer-term relationship with the right owners and yacht. We would love to find a family for whom we can become their trusted crew — whether cruising with them for several weeks, repositioning the yacht to their next destination, or looking after her between visits.
While we are looking for the right long-term position, we are also very happy to consider yacht deliveries, temporary skipper positions, relief work and other short-term opportunities.
We are professional, responsible, personable and flexible about location, and would be very happy to speak with owners to discuss what they need from their crew.
