I'm Sade Pierre, a Professional, adaptable, service driven and always willing to learn, I look forward to meeting new sailing mates, learning from great crew and hopefully becoming a valuable addition to the right vessel and team.
My experience is in Caribbean maritime hospitality professional across yachting, private charters, luxury hospitality, guest services, events planning ,food and beverage service, concierge operations and provisioning in Trinidad & Tobago and Grenada.
I’m currently seeking opportunities as Competent Crew, Stewardess, 2nd Stewardess, Junior Deckhand/Deck Support or Villa & Private Household Staff, where I can contribute my existing experience while continuing to develop my seamanship and maritime skills.
My background is primarily rooted in the interior and hospitality side of yachting, including guest relations, housekeeping, fine dining service, beverage and mixology, provisioning, client preferences, event coordination and maintaining high standards of presentation and service. I also have junior deckhand experience and am comfortable supporting deck operations where required. I’m willing to learn and adapt to each vessel’s procedures, assist with watchkeeping, and familiarise myself with individual docking, anchoring, safety and operational practices before getting underway.
I hold STCW–SOLAS certification, an ENG1 Medical and Seaman’s Book, with STCW training and practical exposure across vessels. I understand that every vessel has its own rhythm, chain of command and way of operating and I value being a dependable crew member who listens, learns, communicates clearly and works respectfully within the team.
I bring a strong service mindset, attention to detail, calm professionalism and a genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences. I’m organised, adaptable and hands-on, with experience working around different personalities, cultures, client expectations and fast-paced hospitality environments.
Having worked within the Caribbean yachting and hospitality industry, I understand the importance of flexibility, discretion, safety, teamwork and maintaining a positive atmosphere onboard. I believe good crew harmony is built through respect, communication, accountability and being willing to step in wherever help is needed.
Travel & Documentation
I am Trinidad & Tobago and Grenadian citizen, providing flexibility for Caribbean-based opportunities and regional travel. Where a position requires additional U.S. crew visa documentation, I am prepared to pursue the appropriate C1/D or B1/B2 visa, subject to the applicable requirements and supporting documentation, including proof of employment or a vessel contract where required.
My Grenadian citizenship also provides visa-free/visa-exempt access to certain Schengen-area travel arrangements where applicable, allowing me to be flexible with international crew movements and assignments. I am prepared to provide the necessary citizenship and travel documentation and complete any required visa process for a confirmed position.
I’m particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to learn from experienced captains and senior crew, strengthen my seamanship, expand my deck knowledge and continue growing within the maritime hospitality industry. I’m not afraid of starting where I can contribute, learning where I need to improve, and earning greater responsibility through consistency and hard work.
I’m open to international and Caribbean-based opportunities and suitable sailing assignments, including opportunities where the right candidate can grow into the role. Whether the day calls for polished interior service, provisioning, guest care, beverage service, deck support or simply another pair of reliable hands, I’m ready to contribute.
