Looking to join a transatlantic crossing from November - entry level cook/stew/voluntary
Hi everyone!
My name is Anna (31), originally from Zurich, Switzerland. I’m an interior designer and scenographer taking an indefinite break from my business to fulfill a long-held dream: crossing the Atlantic and exploring life under sail.
What I bring to the crew:
* Hands-on & Practical: With 5+ years of designing and physically building, painting, and crafting set designs, I’m quick with tools, physically strong, and love practical maintenance work.
* STCW Certified: Completed in July 2024. I understand safety protocols, emergency procedures, and taking duties seriously.
* Galley & Life on Board: I love cooking (and eating!), keeping spaces tidy, and creating a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Through Muay Thai training, I’m physically fit, resilient, and ready for long shifts or tough weather.
* Attitude: Calm, cheerful, adaptable, and eager to learn the ropes quickly.
I sailed as a kid (To be honest, though, that was a very long time ago) and I am now excited to fully immerse myself in sailing skills, watchkeeping, and day-to-day boat management. I'm looking to join a smaller sailboat with a friendly, tight-knit crew atmosphere.
Currently based in Palma, Mallorca, but happy to travel to join the right vessel. If you're looking for a hard-working, positive, and handy crew member for your journey, I’d love to connect!
