My name is Mathieu, I'm 25, I was born with my feet in the water, and I've been sailing since I was 7. I've been a sailing instructor since 2019 (catamaran, dinghy, windsurfing) on the French Atlantic coast and in the Mediterranean, working with people aged 6 to 99, and I also have several cruising experiences. I'm currently completing my offshore sailing qualification to round out my training.
I'm passionate about adventure, at sea (swimming, dinghy sailing, cruising, surfing) as well as in the mountains (trekking, trail running, hiking, skiing, via ferrata). After 7 years of studying to become an architect-engineer, I'm setting off on a journey through Central and Latin America to develop my start-up project: housing that is accessible to everyone, sustainable and adaptable. As I'm deeply attached to the marine environment, I'd like to get there by sailing, which means crossing the Atlantic. I'm available and keen to take my share of the watches and of the work on board (cooking, maintenance, maneuvers).
I'm a simple, active person, happy to share good times while respecting everyone's space. I'm both proactive and very flexible, and I adapt easily to each person's rhythm and habits while still making it work for me. I love cooking and being part of life on board, whether that means pitching in or helping keep the atmosphere pleasant and friendly. I'm resourceful and ready to step out of my comfort zone.

Je m’appelle Mathieu, j’ai 25 ans, je suis né les pieds dans l’eau et je navigue depuis l’âge de 7 ans. Moniteur de voile depuis 2019 (catamaran, dériveur, planche) sur la côte ouest et en Méditerranée, j’encadre des publics de 6 à 99 ans, et j’ai aussi plusieurs expériences de croisière. Je passe actuellement l’extension hauturière pour compléter ma formation.
Passionné d’aventure, en mer (nage, voile légère, croisière, surf) comme en montagne (trek, trail, randonnée, ski, via ferrata), je pars après 7 ans d’études d’architecte-ingénieur en itinérance en Amérique centrale et latine pour faire mûrir mon projet de start-up : un habitat accessible à tous, durable et adaptable. Très attaché au milieu marin, je souhaite m’y rendre à la voile, donc en traversant l’Atlantique. Je suis disponible et enthousiaste pour prendre ma part des quarts et des tâches de bord (cuisine, entretien, manœuvres).
Je suis plutôt une personne simple, active et ouverte à partager de bons moments, tout en respectant l’espace de chacun. À la fois force de proposition et très flexible, je m’adapte facilement au rythme et aux habitudes de chacun tout en y trouvant mon compte. J’aime cuisiner, participer à la vie à bord que ce soit pour mettre la main à la patte ou participer à entretenir une ambiance agréable et bienveillante, je suis débrouillard et prêt à sortir de ma zone de confort.
