American Waterman Seeking Sailing Crew / Deckhand Opportunities Worldwide
Hey! I'm Caleb, 23, from San Diego, California. Looking to join a sailing yacht or adventure vessel for a few months, ideally somewhere international.
I've got a strong background in competitive swimming, water polo, surfing, and professional in-water photography. I've also worked around high-performance boats and yachts through commercial film and photography projects.
I'm new to sailing professionally, but physically capable, adaptable, comfortable with long days on the water, and excited to learn proper seamanship and contribute to a good crew.
I'm currently scheduled for STCW Basic Training in November and open to completing additional sailing qualifications as needed.
Interested in novice crew, deckhand, watchkeeping under supervision, delivery crew, or sailing charter support. Particularly interested in Mediterranean, Atlantic, Caribbean, South Pacific, and expedition sailing.
Ideally looking for paid opportunities with accommodation aboard, but open to discussing worthwhile short passages that offer genuine sailing experience.
