Deckhand and 2nd Engineer, looking to join a performance sail yacht
Hello friends,
My name is Maddalena and I am currently in Palma de Mallorca after crossing the Atlantic as delivery crew. I'm looking to become a permanent or seasonal crew member of a sailing yacht, and am also available as delivery crew or a dayworker/temp crew. I am particularly keen on joining a race crew or performance sail yacht with an ambitious itinerary.
I am working as an assistant to the Chief Engineer of my current vessel, a 45m Royal Huisman ketch, which is the vessel which was recently delivered across the Atlantic. I will be completing my AEC 1&2 at the end of May, after which I will be happy to work as a deck-engineer or 2nd engineer on my next ship, with the goal being to gain experience, knowledge, and sea time, to be able to go on and achieve my SV tickets, yacht rating, and so forth.
