Since six years I am a traveling nomad. I surf, free dive and scuba dive (PADI Dive Master) as much as I can along the way and try to live a cheap and simple life.
I find it easy to adapt to new situations and I quickly feel comfortable in different surroundings. I enjoy manual work of any kind, building, maintenance, painting, fixing things, cleaning, cooking, hosting guests etc. I am great with kids as an aunt of two boys (5 and 8 years old) and I love dogs.
In 2020 I started sailing and went on two trips in Europe through Crewbay, both were absolutely amazing, at the moment I am based in Western Australia (southwest) and I am going on regular day sails with my friends. I would be happy to be able to join someone on a sailing boat for a while to gain more experience. I know what to expect when living on a boat and I am willing to learn and to do what it takes to become a competent sailor myself.
In the future (probably beginning of 2024) I will also be looking for longer trips leaving Australia to my next destination :) open to anything really.

Meike joined us on board both on the hard for maintenance and then on the water sailing east from Bouche de Rhône. Although she had no previous boating experience when she joined us, she picked things up very quickly, is very practical with excellent situational awareness and problem solving skills. She was a real pleasure to sail with, both as a competent crew member and a great fun person to be around. This girl is going places so enjoy having her onboard as crew while you can, as soon she will be sailing the waters on her own boat.
