Howdy! My name's Bubba and I'm looking for some work to fill up my schedule and help me build miles. I grew up sailing in the lakes in Texas and through my adulthood I've taken several bare boat charters in the Virgin Islands. I'm currently working through ASA classes with the end goal of obtaining my Captain's license and I figure I could expand my skillset and knowledge while building miles. I work on the PGA tour during the rest of the year and I'm on the road most of that time, so I want to find some work during my slow season.
I'm looking for paid crew positions on a sailboat in the months of Oct-Dec 2026 and I'm open to working anywhere. Day trips, Delivery, live aboard, you name it, I'm game for it. I'm confident in my abilities to assist in sailing, docking, and be of overall good cheer (oh so important on a boat) and I'm hoping to find some great captains from which to learn.
I'm easy going and light of heart, speak Spanish and I love an adventure. And I've been known to tell a hilarious anecdote or two after we've taken up the mooring ball and poured the first drink.
