Engineer Deck/ Dive Instructor
With over 15+ years’ working experience, I´m looking for my next position in the industry.
I have a Bachelor´s degree in Engineering and a STCW Engineer III/1 Unlimited CoC. I hold a Master of Yachts (MOY) 500gt unlimited CoC, GMDSS CoC, STCW Radar navigation and use of ARPA, STCW Basic Safety training, STCW Advanced Fire Fighting, STCW Advanced Medical Care, STCW Proficiency in survival craft and rescue boats, STCW Vessel personnel with designated security duties, MCA AEC (Approved Engine Course 1 & 2), STCW Leadership and managerial skills and a Master Certificate in Business Management and Leadership.
I have worked on board different vessels from 10m+ diving motor boats to 50m+ Sailing Yachts. These were all excellent learning experiences in how to deliver and ensure an outstanding customer service, in which I take immense pride. In those years, I´ve issued some 400+ certifications and took diving some 10,000+ people.
I´m a CPR/AED First Aid Instructor; a Search & Recovery Instructor; a Night Diving, Deep Diving Instructor; a Nitrox and Advanced Nitrox Instructor and a Technical Gas Blender (including trimix) instructor. Furthermore, I can teach multi-level, cavern/cave, side-mount diving and digital underwater photography as well.
I´m skillful at management and logistics, with tools and power tools, maintenance disciplines, painting, varnishing, polishing and quite experienced with petrol and diesel engine repair and maintenance (Caterpillar certified technician) and experience with new builds and refits (yard periods).
I have excellent tender driving skills, a strong background in water-sports.
I hold a EU passport (Italy) and a B1/B2 United States of America visa and an international driving license.
I am organized, enthusiastic, reliable, and respectful person with a positive and proactive mindset.
