*Looking for to run the boat solo with captain or charter business partner*
An adventurous lady with lots of shipboard experience is looking for the opportunity to run a charter or private yacht, solo with captain or into a small team with combined roles
I am looking well managed yacht with good work/life balance. Informal, friendly, yet still professional atmosphere. Good vibe with the Captain and team is paramount.
I am an active, enthusiastic person with a great passion to travel, learn new skills, explore and discover unknown. I have a university degree in economics and management. Years ago I quit corporate career to change it to freedom of travel living, and head off to the high seas to work for the cruise ships. I have more than 14 years of experience, including but not limited to interior and exterior boat care, provisioning and cooking, including crew , owners and charter guests, serving food and beverages, assisting the captain in sailing, navigation, docking, day and night watch keeping, repair and maintenance. I am able to plan, organize and run interior autonomously, and make decisions to get the work done to fulfil the best guest experience.
I have made 2 seasons in Europe, 2 summers in Alaska, 1 season in South Asia, numerous times in Caribbean, East and West coasts of the USA. I have been in more than 65 countries, lived and worked in some of them . The known destination include Caribbean, Bermuda, Mediterranean, East and West coast of the USA, Hawaii, Asian coastal cities from Bangkok to Beijing.
I hold B1/B2 USA visa. I have crowd management, crisis management, firefighters and other related certificates. I speak English, Russian, Ukrainian and some Spanish.
Working for big ships was a lifetime memorable life-transformation experience but it was a time to move forward to new journeys, destinations and discoveries.
Seeking the opportunities into a small yacht that provides more personalized atmosphere both for guests and for team, I took an offer to volunteer on a private 42-foot expedition catamaran solo with a captain and his friends, and experience was fascinating. My second boat was 58 foot Beneteau Oceanis /Baja Bash passage/. The third one, 68-foot S/y Simple Harmony was a truly memorable. We maintained the boat, took a good care of it with the captain as it was our home. We sail her From New Port, RI down to Saint Barthelemy, than it was chartered for BVI-USVI.
Last 3 seasons I successfully run a 60 foot sailing charter boat as a 1st Mate solo with the captain, and experience was totally amazing. We hosted at about 300 guests each season, had lots of positive travel reviews. The prospects of developing a boat related business are very promising. I am looking eventually to start my own business with the right like minded partners. Also I am be open to the relevant serious offer to run the boat /private or charter/ or manage the property
I believe life is full of wonderful moments we create for yourself and others. Than more time pass by, I start to realize its true value. We cannot acquire more or less of our time but can make the best of its quality which depends totally on us.
I am positive and open minded, fun-loving, thoughtful, happy to learn, explore and share. My colleagues said I am mature, motivated, hard-working, responsible person who always applies golden rule into the job, communications and other relations, who is going extra mile to make a difference.
I love the nature, outdoors, photography, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and other water activities. I am free to explore different destinations, sharing the stories and adventures.
Not particularly looking for "romance" and all related stuff, but person / people to be compatible enough to share the values, visions, prospects, complement each other, to get along with and WORK in a great team .
Looking forward to hearing from you! Safe sailing!
