I am a reliable, hardworking, and honest individual with a passion for adventure and strong interpersonal skills, allowing me to connect easily with others. My goal is to deliver value through my work and advance by taking on increasing responsibilities.
With extensive experience in maritime operations, I completed training with the National Sea Rescue Institute of Southern Africa, accumulating numerous hours on rescue craft through training drills, rescue simulations, and medical training. I also have experience working on motor yachts.
For the past decade, I have managed South Africa’s largest recreational boat storage facility, overseeing 11 staff members, 350 boats, and a one-square-kilometer property that includes warehouses, storage units, and offices. My responsibilities included ensuring the seaworthiness of each vessel, coordinating maintenance to guarantee year-round safety and functionality, and acting as a liaison between clients, dealerships, and technicians to meet clients’ boating needs. I managed daily operations, including the storage, launching, retrieval, flushing, and cleaning of all 350 vessels, gaining extensive expertise in all aspects of boating.
