I am hoping to use this site to connect with other like-minded travelers and boat owners who have an affinity and respect for the ocean and would like a hand traveling through and learning from the sea. After fishing in Alaska for 6 years and delivering sail boats in the US, At this time I am very eager to continue developing the skills necessary to be successful on charter sail boats and yachts, and hope to find a boat to work on long term to get an indepth understanding of these industries and which roles I best fit into. Needless to say, I am a very hard worker on deck and with repairs of all magnitude, am happy and very competent in the galley, and to do whatever is needed to keep morale high and the boat afloat :) I enjoy the constant challenge and improvements boats necessitate, and don't sit down until I'm certain all jobs are taken care of. I'm PADI certified, STCW10 certified, am working on my 100T USCG masters license, and would like to continue formalizing my education and experience at-sea with other certifications and experiences. I have an excellent track record and passion for any work that comes my way, so please reach out if you have an opportunity I'd be a good fit for, and I'd be happy to discuss. Fair winds & following seas, Amalia
