Chasing goal to sail before opportunity lost
Sailing Goal Statement
I have a goal to bring more meaning to my life while the window of opportunity is still there.
I am a moderately experienced sailor with at least 20 years of coastal and island
bareboat and racing experience as well as inland lakes/river experience, all as skipper
and crew.
I have sailed BVI, Atlantic Coast, Gulf Coast, Prince William Sound, and numerous lakes and rivers in US.
I wish to apply for crewing opportunities on sailing vessels (deliveries
and/or pleasure), starting with 7-14 day voyages and increasing times/distances as I gain more experience.
I have no formal certificates or licenses at this time, but, I am willing to earn them, if required.
I am a problem solver and crtical thinker who enjoys the challenges sailing offers as well as the camaraderie of other sailors.
