Looking to crew for a W->E Atlantic crossing and/or Med - 2021
Hello! I'm looking to crew on a boat(s) this year on several different legs. If anyone is leaving from the US east coast or Caribbean for a transatlantic to the UK or Ireland around the very end of May and needs crew.... I'm glad to join and share costs (as long as reasonable), watches, cooking, and help with repairs. I'm only being specific about the end destination due to covid restrictions and my having a US passport, but if anyone knows whether coming into Spain/Portugal/Morocco by sea is alright, I'm ok with that, too. Would even prefer it..).
That's a very specific set of circumstances due to somewhat of a time limit, but later during the summer/fall I will be looking again to crew in the Mediterranean and/or Atlantic E->W and have much more flexibility.
The sailing experience I have so far: started sailing in 2016; currently go out weekly at the local sailing club; a few years ago I crewed on a schooner for a season. No seasickness yet, not a picky eater, pack light but have my own gear, can play guitar poorly and help with media projects (audio/photo/film/website). I am a 31 yo woemyn, speak Russian and English and some Spanish, can reasonably well understand other Slavic languages.
