looking for atlantic crossing east to west
hi all!
My name is Fenna, 30 years old and originally from the netherlands. I have been sailing for around 10 years, mostly on the dutch lakes, in small keelboats and dinghys. Other than sailing i love hiking, climbing, camping and making music! I traveled a lot around europe by bike, alternating with working, for the past three years now. Right now I am traveling in the North American region, after hiking from Mexico to Canada last summer along the pacific crest trail. I sailed to Mexico from Tenerife, on the sail-cargo ship the avontuur, a 40 m, 100 year old, two mast schooner. Here I did maintenance, tarring stays, oiling the woodwork, rust busting, painting, mending sails and had watches when sailing, steering the ship, doing dishes, cleaning the ship and common areas. I am a hard worker, eager to learn and have no problem working on heights.
I am looking for a boat crossing the Atlantic east to west, leaving in the months April - June.
