Feb 2022 Update - Currently in Antigua:
Canadian passport, seamans book, and B1/B2 and Schengen visas. Healthy, fit, skilled and hard-working. Retired from business career, now living my passion. Ocean YM, commercially endorsed for sail and power, and have also completed several OOW modules.
Possess superior skills on sail and motor yachts, including catamarans, and in all weather conditions. Especially enjoy long blue water passages. An excellent navigator and weather router. Very good at handling large vessels and take great pride in executing tight docking maneuvers in difficult wind and current conditions.
Skilled engineer/mechanic. Can easily follow routine maintenance program, or create a program if one not already established. Preventative maintenance is best, but when problems occur underway, I can quickly troubleshoot source and efficiently resolve most issues with ease. Have depth of experience with engines, hydraulics, electrical, navigation and communication systems.
Enthusiastic leader, responsible, fun and easy to be around, a team player, non-smoker, light social drinker and no drugs, tattoos or piercings.
Have logged some 50,000 miles over last 15 years, approximately 70% sail, 30% power on variety of yachts up to 28 meters. Completed several ocean crossings (Atlantic & Pacific) and have experience in following regions:
