2024!

2024

Am flying to French Polynesia in a couple of days. The sailing starts in Hiva-Oa. FP, Cook islands, Kiribati, Samoa, Tonga, NZ. If everything goes well - until Nov 2024. If someone wants to say Hi to me there - you are welcome to send me a msg.

Am back from the US, flying between Nice and Sweden until the middle of March. Then it’s planned lonterm sailing in French Polynesia etc. You’re welcome to contact me if you are also in the region. Fair winds!

2024

My French course finishes in mid Dec 2023. Am going to Sweden for some work after that, then NYC, visiting my grandma, and later Florida. Am flexible for sailing in Jan 2024, no rigorous schedule then.

Am in Nice now, studying French at the uni until Christmas

Summer/Autumn 2023

Am in Barcelona until the 1st of June. June- July- August - the south of Sweden, working at the ER. Then until the middle of Dec - living in Nice. Am open for short-term sailing during that time. Am completely flexible after Dec.

Jan 2023

Am back from Sweden, working at the ER until the 14th of Jan. Am going to Barcelona afterwards. I was thinking - I’d love to live on a boat there.

Sept 22

Am in Taiwan for the rest of the year. Let’s sail here! The infrastructure for that is pretty undeveloped though:)) But still!

Update 25 Feb 2022

Seems to be busy with other stuff, but fair winds to everybody sailing. Hopefully, we’ll sail together when I am back.

Update2022

Yes, I think this pandemic is almost over. So. It’s time for some nomad life. Am renting out my house and going for some adventures. Have got an exchange spot at the university in Taiwan from the end of August. One semester. Can’t we sail around the island? Would be fun. Am going to continue my Chinese studies there. It goes sooo slowly - the studies! The couchsurfers there are quite extreme, offering to stay with them for 5 months :)) It might boost my unexisted Chinese verbal skills. If I am shameless enough to accept that offer :))

Update 2021

Ok, it was no sailing this summer, just work and Chinese/Italian uni studies. In a couple of weeks I’ll start planning for autumn. It’ll fully depend on the Covid situation, I dont want to have too much trouble with countries opening/closing the boarders. But am fully open for new adventures otherwise :) If no sailing- I’ll proceed with my uni studies and work. Yes, it’ll be a rather flexible period.

Summer 2021 Let’s sail together! Or maybe not. Dont know - it still seems unclear regarding opening boarders this summer. I’ve decided to fix my own boat instead. Am going to change the engine, the roller furler etc, blabla... No, I am not handy, yes, it’ll take ages.

Autumn 2020/Spring 2021 Ok, since the world got stranded I’ve been working at the ER nighttime and studying at the uni (International Business plus Sexology Master program - yes, I am weird). It feels like I’ve forgotten everything about sailing. And in January I added Portuguese and Chinese at the uni. Cause education in Sweden is for free and I am obviously understimulated! :)

April 2020 - Back to Sweden. Still studying French at the uni (online now because of Covid19). Fixing my house. Working at the hospital. No rigid plans for the moment. We’ll see how the world will look like in summer. Take care.

January - Am fluent in Spanish now. Going to Nice for 3 months in the end of Jan 2020.

Update 2019

July - Am back to Sweden in August. In Sep am flying to Florida and then to Cuba. Staying on Cuba until the end of 2019
June - Am going to Fiji as a doc for an scientific expedition. Arriving on the 20th to Nadi. Could be fun with some sailing atound the islands.

Cheers!

2019 January - Have just returned from Peru where I studied Medical Spanish and worked as a doc volunteer at the local jail :)) Am at home now, taking shifts, in the beginning of Mars I’m going to Moscow. After that - am open for new adventures :)

Hi, I have a sailboat (Shipman 28) and some basic certs but I lack enough sailing experience to sail on my own (it's my ultimate goal).
I like tall ships and have participated in Tall Ship Races 2015 as well as a sailing trip to the Antarctic from Ushuaia 2016.
NB Occasionally I'm still seasick. But I could manage all the watches crossing the Drake Passage so maybe I've eventually concurred my body - congrats to me! :)
Update: The last time I sailed - it was in Greece - I rented a boat there with a crewbay member. Just for a week. It went great, although I'm still bad at parking.

Done some expedition medicine in Guatemala as well as Ocean Medicine (a course) in the UK. Unfortunately my Shipman 28 has turned out to been in need of major repairments so I feel a bit stuck re sailing right now.
In Oct 2018 - sailing along the East Coast (USA) on a viking boat. Yes, she is such a beauty!
