I'm looking to gain more experience sailing and delivering boats anywhere in the world
Hello,
** I'm currently only taking sailing opportunities where boat owner/captain will pay for travel to departure, from arrival destinations and with all expenses on board paid for. **
My wife and I just sold our house in St Augustine, FL and moved to Huntsville, AL so she could pursue a job opportunity here. The sale of our house has given me the luxury to pursue my goal of gaining more passage making and open water sailing experiences with the hopes of one day turning it into a career. Worst case scenario I meet a bunch of like minded people, gain a bunch of sailing knowledge and have a really good time along the way.
I was a finish contractor (custom cabinets, built ins) for 8 years with a year of geographic information systems (what I studied in college) before we left St Augustine. I was an organic farmer before all of that and consider myself a very capable person with a lot of different and unique skills.
I would consider myself a competent and proficient sailor and I'm a fast learner who's easy to get along with.
I enjoy cooking and have knowledge of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and other culinary styles with diet restrictions and allergies. I personally have no dietary restrictions or allergies.

He's a good one...
I took Skyler on as crew on a sail that was to be from Tampa to Bahamas. Its a long story but we didnt make it that far due to a bent prop shaft but I was happy to have Skyler onboard for the time he was. He's got a great sense of humor and able to keep it up even when things get a bit shitty, which is a great quality. I found him to be honest and respectful and eager to learn (unfortunately I didn't have much to teach him but we learned a few things together). He would be welcome on my boat anytime.
