Sailing chef!
I'm a professional chef with the passion of sailing.
In the last 12 years I've been travelling and working a bit around the world, in 2012 I sailed from San Diego to Auckland for 9 months on an 82ft expedition sailing vessel as support boat for a fleet of vakas, traditional Polynesians canoes, part of a project to save the Pacific Ocean.
After 2 years traveling and working around Australia l had the opportunity to sail a few trips from South New Zealand to the sub Antarctic, bringing NZ Department of Conservation and scientists in remote islands on the same 82ft ketch (Evohe).
In 2015 I moved to South America, where I've been travelling and working around.
In 2018 I sailed from Port Douglas to Puerto Montt in Chilean Patagonia for a delivery trip on a SWAN 55.
In 2022 I was on a crew of 3 delivering a 62ft ketch from Punta del Este to Rio de Janeiro.
The last 7 years I owned a beach bar and a restaurant in Uruguay, opening in the summer and traveling during the winter months.
My dream is to sail to Antarctica, but while I'm waiting for the right opportunity, I'd love to spend this European summer in the Mediterranean or in the Caribbean.
