Looking to crew from the PHILIPPINES
Dear Captain, my girlfriend and I left our jobs, family and friends to travel the world since october 2016 with a goal: hitchhike only lands and seas. We finally reached Philippines after more than 3 years on the roads.
We have so far a total of 3000 nautical miles of experience over 3 different experiences:
- All around the peninsula of Malaysia (Langkawi to Tioman)
- Malaysia to Hong-Kong
- Hong-Kong to the Philippines
We learnt a lot as we are not the kind of crew just here to cruise. We are very interested in the technics and the navigation so we are quite autonomous to sail. We have experience on nigh watches on busy straits with cargoships or busy coasts with fishing boats not showing on AIS...
We are very persistant, easy going, interesting in many things, we like to cook and are used to work as volunteers in many fields (hostel, farm, housework, baby-sitting, sailing boats now :) ). Like you, we want to find good partners to get along well. It's the most important thing probably!
