Watch: Snorkeling in the crystal clear water of the Anambas
Looking for
Bula Vinaka Everyone. I am a father, friend, brother, & son. I am an active status PADI OWSI (Scuba Instructor), an Ocean Enthusiast and a happy Soul. I have worked most of my life on and in the ocean. I had a lengthy career as a commercial sea urchin harvester, and later as a PADI Scuba Instructor & have been working in Fiji for the past couple of years. I gained a tremendous amount of experience on smaller power boats during my urchin diving career, a job requiring long hours and hard work in difficult conditions on the sea. I am accustomed to living and working in small/confined areas and know how to get along well in these situations! I have some sailing experience, though limited. I crewed on a Mason 44, from Port Elizabeth to Barbados and ultimately Trinidad & Tobago. We made calls at Cape Town, St. Helena & Fernando de Noronha, among others. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and it is my dream to sail/crew for many more years! I bring a strong honest work ethic and the ability to teach & certify fellow crew members to scuba dive, to maintain scuba gear (I am a certified cylinder inspector as well), and have an easy going personality and sense of humor. I love learning new things and especially meeting and sharing with people of diverse cultures. I am happy to answer any questions about my experiences that you may have. I look forward to hearing from you & sailing with you!
-Thank you for your time, -Hal
