Deckhand, YM 200Gt Unlimitd in hand
Currently i am the Captain of a 62ft Catamaran working within a fleet of yachts with an intense charter itinerary and maintenance program. The vessel is operated and maintained with an unparalleled sense of detail and efficiency. My work is important to me and i pride myself on the outcomes.
Before becoming a skipper i worked as a Deckhand for 1 year. I have extensive product knowledge and maintenance skills as well as handy work such as caulking, gel coat repair, teak repair and general work list items. Working on the engineering side of the vessel was part of the job so i have done plenty engine services (VOLVO PENTA), generator services (ONAN) and watermaker services( Seaworks). I am fully trained and tested on all aspects of the interior of a vessel and the standard at which it must be kept.
The next goal for my career is to gain my OOW rating and then build my career further. I have a proven longevity and want to carry this forward onto my next job. With over 10000nm of Navigational watch i have the skills to achieve this.
Being able to work on yachts is more than a job for me , its what i want to do for life. I want to work with a good crew whose passions are inline with mine ,where we can progress the vessel and our careers as seafarers together in a positive and productive environment.
