Looking for a crew position sailing from South America to Europe
Me and my crewmate and partner have been travelling around North and South America - volunteering at different farms learning about organic farming, self-sufficiency, permaculture, sustainability and of course life in general.
** we are currently also planning to do some sailing near south of Mexico/Guatemala/Belize, preferable heading towards Colombia or Panama.
Our mission is now to cross the Atlantic Ocean. And our plan is roughly to sail from Rio, cross the Atlantic, preferably taking the route through Bermuda heading all the way up towards Europe. Our plan after is to go through the medeteranian and stop in Alexandria, enter Egypt and explore the sacred pyramids and then head back through Israel and work our way upp to northern Europe. We are open to alternative routes too, feel free to give us suggestions and we can have a chat about it!
What we can help with:
We do not have any sailing experience but we are both two adventures souls with a strong willingness to learn, we are both fit, healthy easy going people, very flexible and and have heeps of fun story’s to share.
I love to cook healthy meals, and have a lot of experience with cooking in communities with bigger crowds. Nick is a bit of an all a rounder, just give him a task and he will quickly get it done, he is strong and loves physical work.
