Currently Looking to join a crew that plans to sail the west coast of Vancouver island.
28 year old born and raised on Vancouver island, I have been on the water a lot of my life fishing off the west coast. (That's me holding the fish) My goal with signing up here is to learn from more experienced salt who feel comfortable on the west coast of Vancouver Island. I really want to push myself to learn to sail in bigger water. I have done a swift water rescue course for white water kayaking which I'm also into.
(2018-2020) I sailed my boat (29ft cascade) from Victoria to desolation twice in the summers with crew. We did some night motoring when we needed to. I also raced with the RVYC on a marten 24 for two years.

(2020 - ?) 84 Catalina 30. First trips will be to the gulf islands then Juan de Fuca. Big goals for this boat are to do a Circumnavigation of Vancouver Island. Then the following year sail up to Haida Gwaii and Alaska. Then Maybe south to Baja and the Caribbean.
