Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship, Voluntary work or Competent Crew position
Heyho, I’m Johanna, 20 years old and I grew up in the North of Germany close to the Baltic Sea. I’ve always been fascinated by seafarer novels and the unpredictable nature of the sea. I would love to experience being out on the ocean for a longer period of time, just the waves, the boat and a sense of adventure. I just did a sailing trip to Denmark for a couple of days last year and got kinda obsessed with the idea of spending more time offshore ;). When I spent a year in New Zealand I got the chance to sail up the east coast for 10 days and it was an exciting and rough experience. I think sailing is the most nervewrecking and remote way of travelling and I always feel like travelling back in time, discovering new, yet unknown places like Cook or meeting the wild seas with Wolf Larsen xD. I would love to learn as much as possible about sailing. Also I‘m studying Geography at the moment and the sea is attracting me even more. I’m going South to Italy in a week and would love to gain more sailing experience in the mediterranean. It would be awesome if I could become part of your crew! I am really keen on learning and easygoing ;) Hope to hear from you!
