Looking for a Competent Crew, Voluntary work or Friendship position
Looking for a crewing opportunity on the Baltic or northern sea this summer (June - aug)! Anywhere around Scandinavia, Netherlands, Germany etc, for as long as possible, small boats preferred ;)
I started sailing in 2019, I've done around 500-600 nm around New Zealand, including overnight sails etc.
In 2020 I participated in the MidsummerSail Race and, together with my crew, won the price for the smallest boat. We sailed over 2000 nm without a motor on a Kievit 680, sailing from the most southern point of the Baltic Sea to the most northern and back. I have done nightshifts throughout the whole sail, changed sails etc. and learned a lot about sailing small boats.
I'm always happy to help with any maintenance jobs on board, I'm especially into sanding & varnishing which I'm actually always happy to do. I’m starting an apprenticeship as a boatbuilder this autumn, so happy to help wherever I can.
I'm trying to sail whenever I can, I generally love small boats but I'm happy as long as I can be on the water :)
