I'm a South African sailor who has spent the last 10 years at sea, delivering boats, crossing oceans, and teaching others to do the same. I'm equally at home on a 3am watch mid-Atlantic as I am coaching a nervous student through their first night passage. Practical, dependable, and genuinely passionate about sailing. I look after the boats and people in my care.
Holding an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certificate and qualified as an RYA sailing instructor, I bring more than just miles to the table. My background spans ocean crossings, yacht deliveries, and professional sailing instruction, giving me a well-rounded and practical understanding of seamanship at every level. I'm methodical under pressure, take responsibility seriously, and maintain high standards whether I'm in command or part of a team.
Comfortable on monohulls and catamarans. Strong on passage planning, weather routing, fault-finding, and watch management. I don't just get boats from A to B. I look after them like they're my own.
