Looking for a Voluntary work position
Hey there, I've just joined Crewbay. My name is Jonathan, I‘m a young free-spiritive traveller from Berlin, the capital of Germany. I am a „boat-hitchhiker“ so I‘m looking to join a crew for a couple of days to get to another island or country. In Gibraltar I started my Trip and found a lift to Madeira and afterwards to Canaries. I crossed the atlantic on a 57 ft aluminium boat that was built for performance sailing. From Barbados to Martinique I sailed with another crew to Martinique, where I am now.
Even if I learned a lot about sailboats and sailing, I am still more a beginner. I can easyly stand nightwatches and trim the sails, but I am always motivated to learn more.
I speak German, English un petit peut Frensh and un poco Español.
I grew up in a big family and I like children so I wouldn‘t mind at all being on a boat with a family, but I‘m openminded for every other crew constellation.
Some more information about me...
I love music. When I was still in Germany I played the guitar, the saxophone and the piano. I like swimming and climbing and my favourite movie is „Into the wild“ :)
