Looking for a Dive Instructor, Mechanic/Deckhand, Voluntary work or Novice Crew position from NZ to Indonesia
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Dive Instructor, Mechanic/Deckhand, Voluntary work, or Novice Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people! Me and my girlfriend are currently in New Zealand and have plans to head over to SE Asia around March/April in the new year, looking for a boat we can jump on to both get some sailing experience whilst having fun exploring the world!
I have some sailing experience in the Seychelles (about 6 months) and also Airlie Beach, QLD (about 2 months), my girlfriend has no experience but super keen to get stuck in and learn the ropes!
I'm a dive instructor and have been in and around water for about 10 years now, my dream is to one day own a boat and sail around the world with my girlfriend, but she's adamant we need to get more sailing experience before that happens!
We both love cooking and without sounding too big-headed are quite decent at it, we both love sushi and fresh-caught fish, I'm very keen to get into spearfishing more and also normal fishing too.
Were looking for a boat where we can not only have fun but most importantly learn how to sail properly and stay safe whilst doing so!
