Looking for a Mile building or Competent Crew position
Ahoy Ship Mate,
I am a life-long boater and a civil engineer who is strong and healthy. I am a hard worker, intelligent, and really enjoy sailing. I started sailing hobie 16 foot catamarans. I have owned a hobie 16, and hobie 18. I have sailed monohalls in Channel Islands, California and Tampa, Florida. I have owned a Sea Ray 270 and currently own a ProKat 20 foot catamaran. I consider myself competent crew and can certainly tie a bowline, rig, trim, hoist a sail, dock a boat, service and maintain boat engines, and navigate and drive a ship, power or sail. I have accomplished many repairs on boats.
I am volunteering to be crew because I want to get out on the open ocean. I am easy going and generally a quiet person. I am unmarried and well established. If you take me on as crew, you will gain a friend and will be impressed with my boating knowledge. I hope to meet and sail with you. Fair winds and following seas! Jason
