Enjoying Life
For now, I have found myself on a cat with a wonderful female captain. We will be spending the next several months in the Bahamas until April '23 then who knows.
I am not looking for companionship! I am looking at buying a boat myself and want to get some experience. Although I haven't flown in years, I have may hours as a private pilot, so I get it a bit. We lived on a yacht on the lake for a year. My background is in homebuilding so I am as handy as a 49 year old can be. I have never steered away form hard work, but I am not looking at killing myself on a boat. It is time to enjoy life and have fun. I have been told I am an awesome cook, kind of a MacGyver. Extremely clean and don't tolerate filth. I appreciate others points of views, and ask only in return to respect my views as well if they are different. I am retired now which does not work well for me. So I am looking at doing things I have always dreamed of and sailing is certainly top of the list. I also want to add that I have a small service dog. Being a super clean freak, I am not a fan of dog hair. She is hypoallergenic, meaning she does not shed and has traveled the world with me. She has been to more places than most people I know. She gets along with everyone. Even people who don't like dogs, end up loving her calm sweet demeanor. I have no problem trying a situation out and if it is not a fit, jumping on the next flight out. I also don't mind contributing. I am a very private person and like my lone time, so sharing a cabin would not be a fit for me.
