Want to gain sailing experience
Hey I'm Hannah!
I am a sailing enthusiast with a burning desire to get out on the open seas. I am currently in Spain boat sitting a classic 50ft sailing boat for the next month and doing a few painting / maintenance jobs on-board. I love being on the water and have a canal boat in the UK which I live on while studying for my masters degree.
I am new to sailing (don't judge.. everyone has to start somewhere) but I am not new to being on the water, having served in the Royal Navy during my early 20's.
I love nature and the outdoors whether it be on the water or walking through a forest! I think it's the lure of being away from busy city life that attracts me most.
I am looking for crew opportunities to gain experience and make like minded friends.

A perfect boat sitter and fun to sail with.
Hannah answered our search for a temporary boat sitter for the early winter period and I’m delighted she did. She is houseproud, makes good use of her time with plans to explore ashore under her own auspices from the boat and has good experience of routine boat maintenance and interior design improvements. She has been proactive to help with minor chores and fun to introduce to life at sea. Although she hadn’t done much sailing before, she is a quick learner and great fun to sail with. I left the boat in good hands. Thank you Hannah for everything.
