Hi guys! I'm a 24 years old student (History and Geography) from Switzerland. I have some sailing experience when I went sailing with a guy that I met over that platform. Now I plan to do a bigger travel to the west over the ocean. I do have some sailing exceperience as a crew but want to improve my game to become a true sailor! I'm very much willing to help with all chores on board, I don't get sea sick and I can cook in most conditions.

not ready for serious trips
While his application mentioned some experience he was clearly not ready for a trip on the Northsea and not able to function in a limited space of a boat with an international crew. Typical Gen-Z complaining about almost everything and clearly not happy with the real setting on a standard sailing boat. Maybe more a luxury catamaran person. Hesitated about about leaving the boat and did so after half a day of sailing in moderate rough sea but still inland waters. Disorganised not able to pack his stuff properly leaving a lot of stuff behind and exoecting us to ship it to him. This guy still had to learn a lot of life lessons... All crew was happy he finally left the boat after half a day. Bad vibe with the whole crew so not just me. I hope he will learn from this experience and select a more luxurious boat matching his standards next time....
